Small, dreamy, rustic mountain house with alpine charm from simple to "luxurious". Recharge your batteries, enjoy the peace and nature.
Pension Michelshof is located at 1500 m above sea level in St. Antönien, an old Walser settlement in Prättigau, Graubünden. After the house was known as the warehouse "Hof" for over 70 years, it was reopened in 2003 as Berggasthaus Michelshof. Over the years, it has been gently renovated with great attention to ensuring that the mountain charm has been preserved. In 2013, the expansion of the former stables was realized. The combination NEW-OLD is completely successful.
Since May 2020, the Michelshof has been run as a pension. Toni Britschgi is happy to accept your reservation or inquiries for group events and takes care of the guests as well as the work around the house. Dominik Karrer presents guests on hiking and snowshoe tours the beautiful "spots" of St. Antönien and takes care of the scooters.
The house is specialized for snowshoe hikers and an ideal starting point for ski tourers and connoisseurs. After the tour, treat yourself to an aperitif on the magnificent terrace, let yourself be pampered in the evening by the kitchen with a fantastic dinner in the Arvenstube with tiled stove (in winter at 18.30h / in summer at 19.00h). At the end of the day, I relax in the outdoor whirlpool with mountain view or relax in the brand new sauna. After a good night with a "Chriesimannli", fortify yourself with a rich breakfast for an unforgettable day! There is a lot to discover: summer and winter!
