Klosters Music - Cuckoo meets Kangaroo

The elegant swan, embodied by the violoncello, draws its lonely circles. The lions roar in the piano before they set off in a dignified march. The great zoological fantasy, as Camille Saint-Saëns called his "Carnival of the Animals", was performed only once in a house concert during his lifetime. The composer feared losing his serious reputation. It's funny when chickens are led in front of their ears by the clucking of the strings, when turtles dance Jacques Offenbach's wild cancan in slow motion in the viola or the double bass mimics an elephant. At this family concert, children and adults can experience all these animals and more. Maybe you will also find a ibex between cuckoo and kangaroo.
