Alp Vals

The Kuhalp Vals is fed by the Alpgenossenschaft Seewis with about 100 cows. In addition to about 9,000 kg of alpine cheese, butter and Ziger are also produced in the summer months.  Persistent mountaineers can follow the signs from Seewis Dorf (Postbus stop Brühel) in the direction of Valärsäge and turn right at the saw to the front of the Alp Vals. If you prefer fewer altitude meters and distance, start from Fanas with the cable car Fanas to the Eggli, hike around the Sassauna in the direction of Schesaplana. At the Luderer Egg turn right in the direction of Mässhalde, past the Picardichopf and then reach the Vordersäss of alp Vals after crossing the Valserbach. Back we go through the Valsertobel via Munt to Fanas.

Scooter rental stations at the Schesaplanahütte and the Alp Ludera for a rapid descent (only during the summer season, approx.  June - October)
