The Prättigau has many a good story to tell: the mixture of tradition and modernity is exciting, as is the historical background and the heritage of the Walsers. In addition, there is a nice pinch of alpinism: climbing walls for top athletes and amateur athletes, long-distance hiking routes, via ferratas, bike trails, ideal areas for skiing and snowshoe tours.
For a long time, the valley was strongly rural, which is probably why the Prättigau people are considered to be hard-working and frugal. The restrained tourist development pays off today: Experiences close to nature are possible here, without leveled slopes and cable car masts disturbing the view of the mountain world.
