Gotschna Freeride Piste

Gotschna Freeride Piste

Six kilometers long is this spectacular roller coaster for mountain bikers and downhill cracks. Over 200 steep curves, jumps and waves lead the track to Klosters. 50 banked curves beckon, which downhill bikers with good riding technique can ride unbraked.

More than 30 tables, flattened mounds of earth with a steep approach, were heaped up. Only for experienced freeriders are the combinations of high jumps, hard waves and even vertical turns. The Gotschna freeride slope impresses with great skiing fun thanks to the moderately steep terrain from Gotschnaboden down to the valley station of the Gotschnabahn. The model for the new slope in Klosters was the legendary "A-Line" in Whistler Mountain, Canada.

Starting point: Gotschnabahn valley station – Gotschnaboden

Route: Gotschnaboden – Klosters

Length: 5.78 km, 590 m altitude difference

Requirement: Good riding technique required: singletrack and freeride experience
