Solar Sauna - Lytefire Sauna

The Solar Sauna of the Heuberge was created from innovative minds and ideas in the winter season 2020.

The Lytefire technology is a cost-effective technology, it bundles the sunlight with the help of mirrors in a focus point where high temperatures are reached. The light enters the interior of the sauna through a window, where it hits the sauna stone and creates steam and heat.
This technology reaches common sauna temperatures between 60 °C and 100 °C. The temperature can be regulated by the focus of sunlight and the amount of steam.

This new technology is not only sustainable but also robust, storms, snow or wind on the hay mountains do not bother the Lytefire sauna.

In summer, the sauna is located at the Berghaus Heuberge, where the Heubergseeli offers refreshment after a sauna session. In winter, the sauna is mobile and the location is constantly adapted to the best sunlight.

The solar sauna is available on request to hotel guests and day guests for at least 2 hours each and can be used by groups of up to 4 people. Bath towels and short instruction included.
