World Masters Mountain Running Championship

The World Masters Mountain Running Championships (WMMRC) 2027 will bring the international masters mountain running community to Klosters in the Swiss Alps. Athletes aged 35 and over from around the world will compete on spectacular alpine trails in classic mountain running, uphill and long-distance races, battling for the world championship titles.
The event programme features three demanding races: the Uphill Race on Thursday, 10 June 2027 (7.2 km / 816 m ascent) from the Madrisa gondola base station to the top station. On Friday, 11 June 2027 the Long Distance Race (25.1 km / 1,152 m ascent) takes runners on a challenging loop through the surrounding mountain landscape. The championships conclude on Saturday, 12 June 2027 with the Up & Downhill Race (11.1 km / 544 m ascent and descent) starting and finishing at Arena Klosters.
Spectators can look forward to thrilling races, an international atmosphere and world-class mountain running set against the spectacular alpine scenery of Klosters.
