The Carschinahütte was built in 1968, expanded in 1993 and extensively renovated in the summer of 2025. Today it offers accommodation for 62 people. The dormitories offer between 6 and 13 beds, and there is also a small 2-bed room and a 4-bed room available. It is mandatory to bring your own hut sleeping bag (cotton or silk). Larger groups feel just as comfortable as families or individuals. During the day there is catering with homemade cakes and specialties from Graubünden, in the evening there is soup, salad and a hearty main course, also a vegetarian one (binding registration in advance necessary). When the weather is nice, it is served on the terrace with a view. Dinner is at 6.30 pm (please inform in advance if you arrive later).

Prices

Dogs are welcome at the Carschinahütte, but are not allowed in the rooms. With prior registration, you can spend the night in the dog box in the basement for a fee of CHF 10. The dog must be able to sleep alone and peacefully there, even if there is another dog in the second dog box next to it. Around the hut, on the terrace and in the dining room, the dog must be kept on a leash. Dog places are limited, so please contact us before booking.
After the renovation in the summer of 2025, there is no longer a winter room available. Overnight stays are therefore no longer possible during the unattended period.
