Description
The orange path starts towards the church. There it turns left, along the forest edge and on an idyllic path towards the former Bad Fideris. At the Badegg, the path turns and leads above the old bath path back through the forest.
Insider tips
Discover, like the former guests of Bad Fideris, the beautiful forest paths with the healthy air.
Safety notice
In June and October, livestock can be encountered on a short section of the route. Please observe the rules on the green signs. Bypass the animals in a wide arc and keep dogs on a leash.
Equipment
Good footwear is recommended.
Directions
Follow the orange markings: The start is on the square towards the church. Along the church wall and turn left at the Röza and go straight between the fence and the forest edge, slightly upwards towards Kulm. At the shooting house in Kulm, turn right into the forest and follow the path until you reach the Badegg. There turn right and stay on this path for a short distance. After about 100 meters, keep left parallel to the drive. And then follow a narrow path through the forest again. On the so-called Allmeindli, go down to the right into the old bath street. There turn left outwards until the Heubergstrasse. Cross it and continue on the gravel path to the reservoir. Pass it on the left and go a short distance upwards about 50 meters. Then down to the right. You now pass a small farm to a junction, from there go only about 50 meters upwards and then directly right over the common land into the forest. If there is livestock on the pasture (usually about 2 weeks in June and in October) it is better to take the path down towards the village here. Otherwise follow the path until you come to a drive. Now follow this path downwards back towards the village Fideris.
