From Seewis to the viewpoint mountain Vilan

This hiking route leads from Seewis through hay and flower meadows up to the forest edge. A first highlight of this hike is the Sadreinegg with a unique panoramic view over Prättigau, the Seewis and Maienfeld Alps. This hike is especially recommended during the alpine spring: Here, the last daffodils can be found alongside various types of anemones. On the ascent to the summit of the Vilan (2,375 m above sea level), hikers might be lucky to observe marmots and chamois. The Vilan is the viewpoint in Vorderprättigau.

If you feel like making a detour to the Bündner Herrschaft from the Vilan, you can descend to the mountain station of the Älplibahn and take it to Malans.
