Popular, easy ski touring summit high above the Fideriser Heubergen with numerous downhill variants to Prättigau as well as to Schanfigg.
From the mountain houses on the Fideriser Heuberge you climb between the two T-bar lifts in the direction of Arflinafurgga (2247 m above sea level). Then it goes in a southeasterly direction along the ridge. Via the Astserhöreli (2261 m above sea level) you reach point 2277, where you meet the ascent variant via the Peister Galtialp. Now the trail leads steeper over the northwest ridge up to the Mattjischhorn, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view. Descent along the ascent route or, if conditions are suitable, via the Peister Galtialp down to the Fideriser Heuberge. The north slope of the summit may only be used in very safe conditions.
Use the shuttle buses of the Fideriser Heuberge as an ascent aid. This gives you more time to enjoy the beautiful mountains of the Fideriser Heuberge.
A stopover in the mountain houses is also worthwhile.
