Details
Description
The well-marked mountain hiking trail leads from the Fideriser Heuberge over the Arflina Furgga to the Fanin Pass. After passing two alpine pastures, the path winds steeply down the mountain into the wild Vanezatobel and is partly moderately marked.
In the Chuonzentobel, you can admire the impressive gravel towers: the conditions for the formation of such towers are special material properties, they must be protected from the wind, the climate must be right, and there must be large boulders or rocks that "cover" the towers. Heavy rains and erosion then slowly form columns, often covered by capstones.
Upon reaching Furna, you spend the night in the hamlet of Hinterberg with a stunning view over to the Rätikon range.
