Insider tips
Halfway along, at the old Fideris bathhouse, you can grill your own sausage at the open fireplace. Wood is provided.
Definitely worth a detour is the Fideris Bakery located to the left down the road in front of the Gujan house. It still produces the Fideris cake and other delicacies today using an old secret recipe. By the way, the Fideris cake has been included in the "Culinary Heritage of Switzerland" registry. It is flat, about three centimeters high, and consists of a hazelnut dough with a raspberry jam filling.
