Ride away

Mathias takes his best friend Philippe and his fox terrier Lucky on a cycle trip from the French Atlantic coast to the Black Sea: together, they want to retrace the route that Youri, Mathias’s son, had been following when he was hit by a car and killed. What begins as a quiet attempt to come to terms with his loss develops into a surprisingly light-hearted adventure full of unexpected encounters. With each stage of the journey, the two friends come to terms with their loss – sometimes in a touching way, sometimes in a humorous one – whilst still celebrating life.
