Divine service for the World Day of Prayer

This year's liturgy was put together by women from England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Above the celebration is god's promise "I will give you a future and hope" from the letter of the prophet Jeremiah to his people, who were deported from Jerusalem to Babylon.
How does it feel to be in exile far from home with no prospect of returning soon? The authors of the 2022 celebration compare this situation with the situation of women who are excluded from society due to different fates in their own country. God also has good plans for them and wants to give them a future and hope.
