Future Inclusion

We offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of theatre. And at the same time meet new people with and without disabilities. The only prerequisite is the joy of playing theatre together. In cooperation without prejudices and evaluations, we learn what we are good at and where our limits lie. The half-day workshops are conducted in collaboration with theatre professionals.

As part of this anniversary, the "Future of Inclusion" action days will take place throughout Switzerland. In cooperation with Pro Infirmis Graubünden and machTheater, Zurich, Theater Chur organizes theater workshops for everyone and creates meeting forums for people with and without disabilities.

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has been in force in Switzerland since 2014. The Disability Equality Act (BehiG) has been an important legal basis since 2004. The purpose of the BehiG is to promote, protect and guarantee the equal enjoyment of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of all persons with disabilities and to strengthen respect for their dignity.
