The Invention of Prättigaus

Georg Fient (1845 -1915) from Pany was the author of the "Studafridli", editor of the Prättigauer Zeitung, director of the Graubünden chancellery, original state theorist, conservative friend of the homeland and much more. The ten musicians of the Alpenglüh'n Orchestra will perform the suite "The Invention of Prättigau" in his honour. They explore his life, thought and work and play music in his honour from Bessarabia to Prättigau. Köbi Gantenbein has written a libretto that tells the story of how the cheerful man, worldly thinker and down-to-earth poet shaped the "art and bad manners" of today's Prättigau.
