«CHICAGO» – IN CONCERT

Chicago in the 1920s. Singer Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is arrested for a double murder. In prison, she meets her biggest fan Roxie Hart (Renée Zellweger), who shot her lover. The two are planning a comeback on the show stage - the attractive lawyer Billy Flynn (Richard Gere) helps them. Rob Marshall's 2002 film adaptation of the musical "Chicago" with the sensual music by John Kander received 6 Oscars. Songs like "And All That Jazz", "Cell Block Tango", "Razzle Dazzle" or "I Move On" have a lot of sex appeal. The film music by Danny Elfman fits seamlessly into the musical events. The City Light Symphony Orchestra under Kevin Griffiths will make "Chicago" groove in the concert hall of the Arena Klosters and bring the gripping sex-and-crime story to life with lascivious strings and cutting brass.
