Description
The guitar in its current form did not yet exist in the Baroque period. It is all the more beautiful that Miloš had works by Domenico Scarlatti, Georg Friedrich Handel and Jean-Philippe Rameau arranged for modern guitar for his latest Baroque album and will interpret them in the first part of his recital in Klosters in the Church of St. James: a play of light and shadow, of the highest expression and meditative silence. The Chaconne from Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita No. 2 for solo violin is also included, which is an almost iconic work for the exceptional Montenegrin musician. Miloš was the first guitarist to play a sold-out recital at the 5000-seat Royal Albert Hall in London. His technical perfection and cantabile playing have brought him to the top of the classical music world. Works by the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos and a detour to the Beatles bring even more colours to the programme: singing with the guitar!
