Betty Bossi is coming to the cinema.

The film is set in 1956 and tells the moving story of creative advertising copywriter Emmi Creola-Maag. Against all resistance - and against the doubts of her agency - she creates the fictional character Betty Bossi. And lo and behold: the "cook of the nation" hits like a bomb! And Emmi herself unexpectedly moves into the spotlight. But the road to success is rocky: The resentment of colleagues and the balancing act between career and family make Emmi's everyday life a real tightrope act.
