He is a former chief physician of surgery at the Children's Hospital Zurich and a master of his trade. He was the first in the world to lift an unborn child from his mother's womb, operate on it and put it back. Originally, Martin Meuli preferred to become an opera singer and during his studies he was not interested in pediatric medicine.
