For decades, Regula Verdet-Fierz has been combining art and craftsmanship – she expands traditional techniques with experimental creativity. By incorporating natural processes, unique moments are created that make each of her works unrepeatable.

Regula Verdet-Fierz lets the elements work in her sun drawings, chlorophyll abrasions and ice flowers, and works together with the animals in her snail works.

In 1922, she received a grant from the competition for professional cultural creation of the canton of Graubünden, which she used to record the course of the sun using cyanotype technique.

While she thus makes the magic of natural processes visible, she creates a magic of perception with her textile works: In the technique she developed "Paint IN Canvas", each individual linen thread is painted in whole or in part before being processed on the loom. The colour compositions change under changing angles in the room. Time and movement are in the work of Regula Verdet-Fierz.

The works exhibited in the Kulturbox show water monotypes on the one hand and soft sculptures inspired by flowing water on the other.
