Easily accessible and scenic. A worthwhile ski tour, not least thanks to the impressive view of the rock faces of the Rätikon massif and enjoyable descents.

Details

Description

From the winter car park  (P5) in Rüti (1460 m above sea level), follow the winter access path (closed to public traffic in winter) in the direction of Partnun. The path is also used by pedestrians and sledders as an access point to the mountain houses. After about half an hour, you leave the valley floor (Ronenegg 1649 m above sea level) and cross a wooden bridge to the left side of the valley, where you climb more or less along the summer path towards Alp Garschina. When you reach the boulder-strewn plateau "Ganda", the tour soon leads left up to the Schafberg (north of point 2249). This summit access is quite steep, you can alternatively reach the summit via the northeast ridge.
